Daal
Ingredients
1 cup masoor daal (looks orange)
1/4 cup chana daal (looks yellow)
1 clove garlic
cumin seeds
1/2 cut onion
1/2 cut tomato
Shaan daal masala
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
Green chillies
Fresh lemon juice
Coriander leaves for garnish
Salt to taste
- Wash and presoak daal for 5 minutes
- In a pan add daal, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and water and cook it until daal is fully done
- In another pan heat a little olive oil and add cumin seeds
- Add garlic, onion and tomato
- Add Shaan masala
- Fry it until golden brown and then add daal bring it to a boil
- Add coriander to garnish
- Serve it with any rice of your liking
