Enough for 2-3 people
Ingredients
1/2 coarsely chopped cabbage
1 potato
curry leaves
Black Mustard (Rai)
Green Chillies
Ginger garlic paste
Turmeric
Chilli powder
Coriander Powder
1 tablespoon yogurt
1/2 onion
1 tomato
Hunts Tomato puree
Method
- In a container add cabbage, turmeric and water
- Microwave it until cabbage is half done (roughly 5-10 minutes)
- Microwave the potato until it is cooked (roughly 5-10 minutes)
- In a pan heat a little olive oil
- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies
- Fry onions until it is brown then add tomato
- Add turmeric, chillie powder and coriander powder and salt
- Add ginger garlic paste
- Add potato and fry it a bit
- Add cabbage
- Cover it and let it simmer
- Add tomato puree and yogurt and cover it
- Serve hot with Roti, rice or naan
